Biography
Hösle studied Philosophy, Classics, and Sanskrit because he was both interested in the "ultimate questions" and wanted to understand the answers that earlier civilizations gave to them. He has taught at Notre Dame since 1999, where he founded the Notre Dame Institute for Advanced Study.
