In this talk, Max Kade Visiting Professor Kristin Skottki will offer an overview on the most hotly debated issues in Crusade Studies today (political and violent appropriations, colonialism, racism, etc.) and reflect on the challenges of teaching the history of the Crusades to different audiences.
