Awards Archive

In the case of study awards funded by the Department, the student is responsible for arranging for a direct payment. Direct payment is to be preferred in all cases. Reimbursement to students may be viewed as income and thus subject to taxation. The Department can not be responsible for these taxes and will not raise the award to compensate for them.
